About the event :

In India, south east Asia and SAARC countries there are more than 50 million 2-wheelers. With the advent of electric vehicles, this number is set to increase exponentially. Given the enormous number of accidents taking place in two-wheelers, the next generation of 2-wheelers need to have ICT based advanced safety features and autonomous/auto-pilot mode to help the rider in real-time. In this regard, IIIT Sri City takes the lead and is hosting an IEEE ITSS Winter School on Sensing, Communication, Computing and IoT for 2-wheeler mobility. This is the 1st Winter school of IEEE ITSS to be held outside USA.
